Got the call today that I am being submitted to my insurance company!! So excited! This is getting real! Now wonder how long it will take???

Woohoo!!! Huge congratulations to you! As far as how long insurance approval takes, it depends on your insurance company.

I have UHC. I was submitted for approval at 3:30PM one day and had approval by 9:00AM the next morning.

I have seen people say that it has taken various people up to 2 weeks so you may need some patience.

BTW- No harm in calling your insurance company daily to check on the status :D Starting tomorrow!

Drs often wait for the letter to get to them from the insurance company to know if you are approved or not. I knew before my surgeons office because I called.
