endoscopy

Has anybody had a endoscopy that they can share how the experience went? I am having this procedure done in a couple of weeks and I need to be up and ready to leave in about an hour after the procedure is done to get to another appointment within the hospital. Thanks........Bob

You will definitely have the best sleep. I remember feeling queezy and had heart burn for the rest of the day, but wasn’t too bad. You aren’t supposed to drive, but I did drive at night. I benefited from resting the rest of the day, but you’ll be fine!

Well, I finally had my endoscopy today and although I was in a light sleep I clearly remember gagging through the whole procedure. oh well its finally done and everything looked good and the dr said I am a good candidate for my surgery so its all downhill from here. Thanks for everyone's input.......Bob
