Weight Loss Plateau at 3 weeks???

I am on week four, just about 3 1/2 weeks from my surgery. I know I shouldn't watch the scale everyday, but it's exciting! My weight has gone down every day until this week and it has not budged at all, not even a little bit. I am trying to not get hung up on numbers, but I am concerned something is wrong since it hasn't moved at all. I have struggled a lot this week with my protein and trying to figure out if I have a protein allergy or if I have become lactose intolerant. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

Search the site, there are literally hundreds of separate posts about the dreaded 3rd week stall.
It's pretty common. It's not an issue. Things will start up again, just keep following your instructions.

Matt Z is so right. and it will happen several more times. What helped me was along with weighing myself, I would measure. Do this once or twice a month. I can almost guaranty you that when the scale temporarily stops moving, your measurements are moving. Attached is what I use to track. Feel free to clear the data and use it yourself.

It's a really great idea to keep track of measurements. I hadn't thought of that. There is more than just the scale. Thanks for the idea and I think I am going to borrow your template. Thanks!
