11 days post op and frustrated

Hi all. Needing a little encouragement or an idea for some new food to try. I’ve been managing with my protein drinks, sugar free ice pops, cottage cheese, soups (broth). I saw the doc for my 7 day post op visit on Tuesday and he said to try egg. I did and threw it up. I think I ate too much. I’m bored of what I’m eating and feeling depressed about it today. Can anyone give me some ideas? Is it going to get better?

Hi there. Yes. Full liquids. Tried yogurt. I have to try different soups to give me more variety. I am missing meat. That’s the issue. I want to eat meat and I know that’s not happening.

Yogurt? SF jello with yogurt? Laughing cow cheese? How many soups have you tried? Ethnic soups like hot and sour or Tom Yum? Pacific Brand or Trader Joe's brand Tomato with Roasted Pepper in an aseptic box was a particular favorite of mine. Can you do full liquids? I made lentil soup and pureed it.

Make beef soup, strain out the meat. Puree the veg with the broth. Lots of good beefy flavor.
