Potential surgery in December....

So I'm planning on having RNY in December. I recently had gallbladder removed so I'm no longer fearful of surgery or the pain following it. Wasnt that bad. How is everyone after surgery. Do any of you regret it. I have everyone in my life split on it I should do this or not. Half say do it half are saying no. I dont want to make the wrong choice. I'm 350 pounds. I have been diagnosed with IBS and Hope's are that eating less and weighing less will help it with the addition of helping lower blood pressure and getting rid of sleep apnea.
