OMG, not this again? GAS!

Ok so the 20th was surgery. I expected the gas and pain etc. didn’t think I was different from anyone else in that are.

But I think it was Monday I took some MOM for constipation. Had extremely loose no form tiny movement.

Then Wednesday I was allowed more food choices so I added in bits here and there as allowed etc.

the problem being I feel very bloated and gasy and I took more MOM and nothing.

Anyone know what to do or had this before

As you transition to new food groups, your body may react differently to them. When I started eating beans, my gas levels went way up.

Also there is a phase, luckily it is a short phase which is best described as "Never Trust A Fart".

Milk of Magnesia isn't going to help gas though, you'll want Beano, GasX or some other gas specific, Milk of Magnesia is a laxative, so it's going to help with constipation, it also acts as an antacid. But not as a gas reducer.

GasX and walking. My dietitian suggested that I make it a habit to take a 10-15 minute walk after every meal which helped me tremendously. It's a big experiment right at first to figure out what food works and what doesn't so just take it slow.

I think I just might do that walk after each meal. Not sure I can do the ten minutes yet still in a lot of pain but for five I can do
