Post Op meds

So my surgeon recommended (said I had to) I buy "Bariatric Advantage" Calcium Citrate Chewy's 500mg & Chewable Advanced Multi EA. From what I gather they are just multi vitamins and iron pills. Is there any reason I need to get these other than they are chewable. I take multi's already and one of the last visits I had with him he said all my levels looked good. I'd rather not spend the $ if I can get past it. Is there another alternative? Cheaper maybe? What do you all take?

All those that responded since my last Thanx, I thank you dearly. I am greatly appreciative for the responses. @MarinaGirl Thank you for the answer to my question. What my PCP has me on is mostly double what the meds the surgeon wants me to take and like I said my last blood test from him he said all my levels were where they needed to be or higher. I'm not going to wast the $. @Frustr8 I really look forward to reading your responses. I really feel like they are genuine and come from a very caring place. Not to mention they almost always make me smile or laugh. I wish you and everyone else the very best in your journeys. Thank you all so much!!!!
