Hang in there, I had surgery on the 21st and am still in the hospital as well. Horrible nausea and can’t keep anything down. I guess this happens to some people. I was sure I’d be home by now but will

Sorry you're feeling so bad. If you're still in the hospital, they should be able to give you IV pain meds or IV nausea meds so that you can take the oral pain meds. 2-3 spoons of the jello is about right. You just don't have much room in there. Don't worry, it will get better!

thank you .. I'm so ready to skip to 2nd week where my body feels less sore.. I kept walking up on the hour last night..They were trying to ease me out of the iv med bc it doesnt last as long as the oral med..

I hope you feel better soon. My surgeon did a patch behind my ear for nausea and it made the world of difference for me. I did have a heck of a time pushing liquids and ended up back at the ER a week afterwards because I became dehydrated. So if you can tolerate it, sip as much as you can. Hang in there.

I was sure I’d be home by now but will not let this little detour get me down. I’d rather they keep me here so i don’t end up in the er dehydrated. My surgeon said that it’ll eventually pass and I’ll be fine.. so I’m in the same boat hanging on
