Hello,
I had my gastric sleeve surgery done on February 1 of this year. I've been having problems getting enough protein, liquid, and food in from the second week on. I've had some issues with all kinds of protein shakes, where I get extremely nauseas while drinking them or severe gastric distress. So, for the last six weeks I've been drinking clear protein, soup, and Apple sauce. As of a week ago, I developed an allergy to the protein that I was drinking and it makes me throw up now. I spoke with my surgeon and he told me that I do need to try more things, especially solid foods. I've been slowly trying since then. Like I can eat a tiny meatball that I've cooked or a very small piece of chicken, but it takes me almost an hour. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any advice is welcome!
