Size of Dilation?

I had an endoscopy for an ulcer and they found that my opening was only 9mm. I had a dilation a few weeks later to bring it to 12mm. It’s been 5-6 weeks and I don’t notice any improvement so they will go in again in about 2 weeks. (I just had a double mastectomy a week ago so need to wait). My questions for those of you that had dilations are what size were you stretched to and then how many dilations did you have until it “took”?

My surgery was 5-8-2017 so coming up on a year soon. I’ve eaten mostly soft foods and tiny portions this whole time and can’t wait to add some variety into my diet.

Well how big is the opening from the pouch to the small intestine? Does it vary or is there a standard size? I'm just curious.[emoji3]

My guess: 12-15 mm but only your surgeon knows what has worked best in the past for him/her. I'm hoping for a turkey or duck-egg size pouch instead of a pullet chicken but as long as I'm turned into a kangaroo( a pouch, okay?) I'll take what I receive.PS sorry to hear of that serious serious surgery, now you get healthy again, you hear?
