Newbie here

Just wanted to say Hi All! I'm new to this app and to the Bariatric journey. I'm still in process of trying to get my sleeve. Hoping it happens this summer! I joined here in hopes of making friends and support from those that "get it" :) any and all advice/suggestions are more than welcome!

Welcome @CLee31. Always happy to meet a new friend. I'm the self appointed Welcome Woman here. I'm 72, live 14 miles from Ohio's Geographic Center, widowed with 2 living children. I am planning on a RnY bypass, my WLS journey has been a bumpy, one, one I would wish,on my worst enemy, better him than me. Last time I weighed myself, which I avoid doing, I was 323lbs,i stand 5ft8in strawberry blonde hair, hazel green eyes & have a BMI of 47+. Nice weight for a redwood tree, more than a mite heavy for a human being. I try to keep a happy cheerful attitude. I have had arthritis since I was 25, chronically ache but I keep going on. 2 knee replacements so far, other things close to replacement but hope my surgery will slow down the progression. Although I am still technically a pre surg I know a lot about weight loss etc, many people on here have helped me and I do try to pay it forward to the best of my ability. So if you need any questions answered or just want a sympathetic ear, I'm here. No shame in my game, I talk about most anything. So welcome again,we hope you hang around a while!
