Cigna insurance denials

Hello everyone. I am starting the process of getting a lap band. I have Cigna insurance. Has anyone been denied and if so, what were the reasons? Also, any good experiences with them? Advice? Thanks!

    Why a lapband? Very few surgeons are recommending lapbands these days due to all the slipping and erosion and issues, many that have them are getting them removed and having a revision to the sleeve.

    Because I don’t want a sleeve. I worked with a girl who was hospitalized multiple times after a sleeve. She was deathly ill. I just don’t want a sleeve. Do you have Cigna insurance?
