One month post op and feeling nauseous

I’ve been feeling nauseous since yesterday. I was able to eat breakfast but the smell of food is nasty. Could it be something I had a little bite of? I took a little bite of a raspberry filled donut. Not the best thing to take a bite out of. It was a weak moment.

Now I regret it.

Bariatric surgery radically affected my sense of taste. Other people experience a radical change in their sense of smell.

Hi, I have always had a great sniffer but since my RNY MY smell and my taster have been over the top!! I use to love garlic and onions and I couldn't tolerate them for the longest time. In fact within the last 6 or so months. So sad but oh so true. I hope things work out for you. It can seem like it takes forever to get used to it all over.

Yeah, I don’t like sweet stuff anymore. No donuts, cake or cookies. Which is awesome!
