Anastomotic ulcer

I was just diagnosed with 2 small anastomic ulcers but am not getting much information about it from the doctor. Can anyone shed light on this diagnosis?

Are u having trouble getting food down? Or feel like it gets stuck?

I have ulcers too and they changed my meds and that is supposed to help.

I had one large one about a week after bypass and was back in the hospital for 3 nights! This was last May. I just had two more about 4 weeks ago and was in one night. I’m now on Protonix twice a day for two months, then once a day indefinitely. Some of us may be prone to them. I didn’t feel them but had lots of blood loss.

How long did d it take for your ulcer to heal? I have one- and am still throwing up some- I am anxious to be better!

I know you need to stay away from NSAIDS- but I have not taken any and still developed an ulcer. Not sure if the reason why?
