Im looking for surgeon recommendations in NYC. I’m bipolar II and also have metabolic issues, so I think I need someone who is really up on the latest issue. I’m not sure I’m a good candidate and I need an honest, informed assessment.

I’m with NY Bariatric Group, Dr. Holiver. According to his bio, it looks like he was an early pioneer in sleeve surgery. Haven’t had my surgery yet but for the most part the experience has been good. All my insurance requirements were approved last week and I’m hoping for a mid March surgery date and would love feedback from anyone who has also used this group.
