PVCs/skipped heart beats

Has anyone experienced an increase in their PVCs/skipped heartbeats post-surgery? I’m only 4 days post-op but have been having a frequent run of PVCs today for some unknown reason! Just wanting to know if anyone else experienced anything like this?

Not that specifically, but I did have an episode of SVT, either caused by a pain issue or electrolytes or the combination of both. Make sure you're getting electrolytes in (I do 1 20 oz electrolyte drink a day). That might help normalize things a little bit.

Thank you! I think I may be having an electrolyte issue so I’ll incorporate an electrolyte drink into my fluids. The nurse at my surgeon’s office suggested I go see my PCP to be on the safe side as I had around 4000-5000 PVCs all day and night yesterday. Not the norm for me, although I’m prone to them.

Definitely get it checked out. They gave me some IV nutrition and fluids. My program requires us to have one electrolyte drink a day (12 oz), I'm doing 20 oz of Powerade zero because I feel weird otherwise. The first few weeks I felt a noticeable difference after drinking it, so I had it first thing in the morning daily.
