Spinal Morphine

Has anyone had this injection for weight loss sleeve surgery? My anesthesiologist told me about it. I have had hallucinations from morphine before but was on for a few weeks

Would love to hear about any experiences with this.

Oh hell no.

For the surgery or after?

Ask for propofol for the surgery, it takes effect easy, and wears off about 30 minutes after last administration. And ask for a scopolamine patch juat before anesthetic - so you won't get nausea. For afterwards - acetaminophen in an IV - 1000mg

This is something the anesthesiologist was talking about before surgery. It is given in the spine to help with pain?

Thank you for your response, the hell no was all I needed to see to make me leery of doing this. I will write down your advice for what I should do....much appreciated!
