So if you are at the last appointment before they submit everything to your insurance company. And you gained weight or stayed the same. What happens?

All they did with me was shrug it off. They told me that they don't report the gains, just the losses.

Might just depends on who your surgeon is and what your insurance requires. If your weight stays the same, awesome. If you gain, it could be no big deal or they could be Honest Abes and actually report that to your insurance.

Best way to know for sure is to ask your surgeon or your surgeon's team.

I gained before my last weigh in and the lady was quite nasty about it. Then I lost maybe 2 lbs on my liquid diet which I only followed for 2 days and a random nurse weighed me, she didn't even mention it. I think you'll be fine as long as you don't have a history of fatty liver. Just make sure you're trying and definitely only do clear liquids the day before! You'll be fine
