2 months post today!

I’m two months post today, feeling great overall and I’m down almost 50lbs. Just discovered today that my pouch + rice = disaster so I will not be trying that again anytime soon. I was never a big rice fan anyway so I’m unbothered.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Congrats on the 2 months out!

I read somewhere that rice expands in the stomach. I’m 7 weeks out and have been afraid to try rice! Now reading your post is another “no rice” message. I plan on skipping rice. Like you it’s no big deal.

I’m glad you are feeling great!

That’s probably why. Every other starch I’ve tried has been fine but rice tore me up. It was bad! So I’d say avoid it for as long as you can. It’s not even worth it. Happy 7 weeks!

I'm over 6 months out and have been afraid to try rice. I do miss it though. I have tried riced cauliflower and it is close to the same kind of texture. I want to try it like a fried rice sometime. You can buy it frozen at some grocery stores.

Congrats on 2 months!

I’m four months out... and part Asian. Rice is life. I don’t eat much but I haven’t had any problems with it.
