What I was wondering was could this be related to my fill or am I really just having alot of anxiety. After all your bad doesnt get tight in your throat right? its in your stomach so why would my throat be tight? I would appricate any info so I can figure out what to do about this. Its very uncomfortable. Thx

Gummie- I got my 3rd fill this morning. Since then I have a constant lump in the throat feeling. It hurts to even drink. I'm calling the nurse tomorrow.

Ok so the swelling or whatever it was went away but then I ate something more solid and it came back so maybe it will go away within a few more days? or maybe it will get worse IDK. When I called the doctors earlier they said that u get tighter after a few weeks from a fill so I hope this doesnt get worse I live 300 miles from the doctor so I am just trying to hold off and see what happens I guess. Wonder if I should go back to more liquidy foods until this settles down?

Hi Gummiebear,

Yes, go to liquids or mushies for a bit and give yourself some time to adjust.

A quick question, are you under stess or stressing over something? My band gets tight and at times places the golfball in my throut when I am stressed. I actually have to calm myself and find an alternative destresser (hot shower or a work out work for me now) and that helps my band loosen up.

Good luck, I hope it subsides soon.
