Does anyone else feel this way, will I feel better?:help: Totally normal to feel this way... at the moment you're stomach is swollen, you have loads of restriction, and it's a bloody shock to the system! Once it all settles down (usually 2-4 weeks) you'll feel so much better about it all, I promise! Chin up and know that it will only get easier from here on in! Hx

Does anyone else feel this way, will I feel better?:help: Hi, I'm sure that once everything settles down you will be fine. I'm due to be banded on 3/12/07, so I'm haveing similar thoughts myself. Everyone I have had contact with has said that they would not be without their band - good and bad - they would do it again. Remember you should be taking it easy right now. You have just had major surgery and you need to recover. Give it time and try to relax for the moment. Where were you banded? (seems to be the one question we always ask:D) Danna
October 22, 200718 yr I was MISERABLE for the first few days, then everyday it got a little better, just hang on, I promise it's worth it.
October 23, 200718 yr Author Thanks for your comforting words, I was done at Mountain District private Hospital with Dr Adam Skidmore

Does anyone else feel this way, will I feel better?:help: It does take time to get over the surgery. I felt "normal" after about a week, but some people do take anywhere up to 2 or 3 weeks to feel human again. Congrats on the band.
October 23, 200718 yr Dawna, I'm being banded by Dr Liebman at North Shore Pvt in Sydney. Where are you looking at being banded? Danna
October 23, 200718 yr That's a question that I believe many people have. I know I did before the band. What am I doing!!! Will I ever be normal again. Why ME? All the negative self talk comes out. I now am 3 weeks post surgery. Feel great, can eat more than I should but that is temporary till my first fill and am feeling that I made the right decision. Hope you start feeling better soon. Cheers
November 3, 200718 yr Sounds like we're all at different stages of the same questions... why me and will I get through this?? This is my third night since surgery and so glad to be home... couldn't relax at the hospital at all. Glad to hear that it will all settle down soon.
November 3, 200718 yr Author Its now been 3 weeks and I feel so much better and can eat alot, I get my first fill in 2 weeks and cant wait, so all those that said it will get better, IT DID & I am very happy now.
November 3, 200718 yr Thanks Wendy, I needed to hear that again since I'm still having problems settling down tonight. Not hungry just sore.. probably over tired as well.
