Pain after surgery

I had my sleeve done on 11/20 and I’m doing well- getting in all my liquids and protein and hitting my walking goals. The issue is I have pretty intense pain around my bellybutton. I have two lap sites near my bellybutton, but the pain I’m feeling isn’t near the incisions. It’s sharp and burning and the skin is sensitive to touch- almost the way if feels after you burn your hand on a pan while cooking.

I’m wondering if anyone else has this type of pain and how long it lasted?

If you mean your skin surface is very sensitive/painful to the touch, I had that after my c-section in several random spots on my lower belly. My OB said it was just nerve signals and nothing to worry about so long as my incision was healing properly. It lasted a few months before it was fully gone.

If the pain feels deeper down, I would call your surgeon.

I’m almost 4 weeks post op and have a similar sensation. I figured it was nerves or something. I don’t notice it quite as much as the first couple of weeks.
