Dental work before surgery??

My surgery is scheduled for 11/20/17 and I’m sooo pumped. Only 4 more days!! I’ve been killing this pre op diet and I was feeling so ready, until I woke up this morning.

My right jaw is slightly swollen due to swollen gums partially on top of a wisdom tooth. The right side of my throat also feels a bit sore. Could my tooth be infected? And if it is would I have to postpone surgery?? I hope not!

I wouldn't think it would postpone your surgery. However, if you are running a fever it could be a problem. Try and stay calm. When we get inside our heads about things it can make things small seem really large. Good luck with surgery!
