Pre-Op Appt Dr.

Hello,

I was approved for surgery by my insurance on Monday and yesterday my surgery date was scheduled. October 24th!! Beyond excited. I have an appt with my dr. on Oct 18th, can anyone tell me why I have to meet with him before the surgery and what I should expect?
