Confused....

So I'm 16 days post op and onto puréed foods. Not feeling like I'm starving and believe me there's cravings for some of my "old favorites" but I've avoided them.

i usually have a protein shake for bkfst, yesterday had some blended homemade cream of chicken soup for lunch and 1/3 cup egg beaters with about half a fat free cheese stick mixed in for dinner. That's it. Only about 35 oz water though

so not starving but don't feel like I'm losing like I thought I would (since preop diet down bout 34 lbs which is awesome though)

just don't want to do this wrong.....

Many people think we'll lose a pound a day postop. It rarely works out that way. Typical losses are 15-20lbs the first month, then 10-15lbs for the next couple months.. then less after that. Over a year it averages out to 10lbs a month, give or take.
