Hey all!

I was sleeved on 8/14, 5 days out, and am definitely feeling true hunger. Like stomach growls and empty tummy feeling. Is this typical? Don't most sleevers not have true hunger pangs? Is there any hope that the "hunger" will go away as I continue to heal?

Today is my first full day home, had mine done 8/16. I haven't experienced any hunger pains yet, knock on wood.

I get hunger pangs but not like presurgery. Sometimes it's just my tummy talking. Are you taking any acid reducers, doc has me on omeprazole 2x a day. Acid can cause rumblings that we mistake for hunger.

I do get those hunger pangs but I also believe now that it might be acid reflux. .cuz protein drinks give me heartburn. I have my 1 week post op appointment with my surgeon tommorow. Will tell him all that I'm feeling. Good luck to us both!

I've never had heartburn so I don't know what it feels like. I am on Pepcid for acid reduction 2x a day. The hunger doesn't hurt or burn, but maybe it could still be reflux. I don't see my surgeon until 2 weeks post op. I'll bring it up then if it continues to happen.
