Pre-Op Drinking Isopure GAS HELP ?

  • I am still a couple months pre-op and have just started drinking ISOPURE 0 CARB. I have to drink it for 2 weeks prior to pre-op & my nurse said I could go ahead and buy a canister and see how I like it and find things I like to mix with it.
  • Well I have been drinking it 3 days and have extreme gas and have noticed that I am bloated. I feel really full drinking it and am only drinking it at breakfast so far, but want to drink it at dinner but I am afraid I will explode with all the gas.:o:help:

Is this normal with ISOPURE has anyone else used this product?

I use it but I'm not overly fond of it. I have not noticed a problem with gas. I have only mixed it with Water (probably why I don't like it) because it has so much Calcium that I don't need to use skim milk.

What have you mixed it with so far? Is it the only choice your program gives you? If you are gulping it down to get it over with you could be swallowing too much air........

Serena,

Hi I love your icon moon thing. And the ticker. How do I add that I am very new to this.

I appreciate so much you answering, and it has been a while since I registered. My Dr's recommend the isopure and I am mixing with skim milk, but am going to try the soy milk next week and water. I also have been adding fruit and peanut butter. I have been better today so it may have just taken me some time to get used to it.

Thanks so much for your reply.

Rebecca
