Issue with drinking

Ok, so I finally feel restriction. Had my surgery in July of 07, and I finally am at a place where I am restricted when I eat. My surgeon was more agressive at my last fill on 10/10/07 he added another 1.5. This was my third fill since having the lap band. So far I have only lost 15 lbs, so I wanted to be more restricted. I am very happy with the food intake. I am eating about 1/2-1 cup per sitting. I am not eating in between meals. My issue is that I can't drink anything. Not warm, not cold, not water, not tea. Everytime I take a drink I get this burning feeling in my throat. I don't get it when I eat, only when I drink????? Any ideas why??? Please help, I don't want to go back to the doctor and have him tell me I am too full, any other options??????

I wouldnt mess around with something like that, call your doctor and get it handled. You should be able to drink liquids! A slight unfill will not make you a failure or anything else. Maybe you just need smaller fills to get you to the restriction you are at now?

I know with my last few fills the week and half after the fill really makes eating much at all hard to do. Then the swelling goes down or whatever and it gets better. I have never had issues when drinking something though. That would really concern me.
