Loose skin??

Hi all,

I have a surgery date scheduled for September 6 and was curious if anyone has tips to prevent loose skin. Is there anything I could start doing now to possibly prevent or minimize it after surgery?? A particular helpful cream? Massage? Dry brushing? Any tips would be great. Thanks!

Depending on how long you were obese and how old you are, there may or may not be anything you can do to prevent loose skin. Generally, younger peoples' skin tends to 'snap' back, but not always.

Nonetheless, some people swear by liquid collagen, topical elastin, and vitamin E creams during the active weight loss phase to prevent loose skin.
