Post op protein shakes

When I was in the hospital, they gave me Ensure Compact Vanilla flavored shakes on all of my meal trays. Would it be a bad idea to get some of these shakes in the chocolate flavor?

  • Great! Stick with that instead of that junk with corn syrup and sugar

Those would NOT fit on my plan, way too many carbs/sugar and not enough protein. IMG_2580.JPG

Second ingredient is corn syrup and fourth is sugar!

For the clear liquid part I used Isopure and syntrax nectar. There are some newer ones on the market these days too, perhaps someone can recommend some.

But ensure compact isn't a clear liquid

I have isopure vanilla. I've been mixing it with water.
