Post op day 2

Hey everyone, I had my surgery this past Wednesday. I was just curious if anyone had trouble with liquids right after surgery. No matter how small of a sip I take I get an air bubble stuck in my upper esophogus, it releases, then the liquid goes down and everything is fine. I have had no vomitting or general ill feeling since Wednesday night.

Today I am 4 days post op and when I drink cold liquid I get an air bubble or air pocket. I guess that's what it is. After it goes on down then the feeling goes away. I'm having trouble getting my Protein down.

I am 15 days out from surgery and experience the same thing. I am told it will subside as our body heals.

I found out starting my day off with a warm liquid made a world of difference for the day. If I did cold 1st thing in the am I would get painful gas pressure.
