Good luck tomorrow! I'm almost a month out from my RNY. When I got to the hospital I had to register and then go to the outpatient surgery floor. I checked in there and waited to go back into pre op. Once in there I had to strip naked, put on the lovely hospital gown, and get on the gurney to wait. A nurse came in and started my IV and I was given saline and an antibiotic. Anesthesia came in and had me sign consent and explained what they were to do. Then, a few minutes later I was wheeled into the OR, moved on the table, and went to sleep [emoji42].
Afterward I was groggy for a few hours, but slowly woke up and started my walking!
Walk as soon as you can and keep [emoji1435] walking it really helps the gas!
Good luck tomorrow! You'll do fabulous! Keep us posted!
