Cardiologist Appointment

I am going to my final doctor in this pre-surgery process tomorrow afternoon. What can I expect when I go to visit him. I have no heart disease in my family or ever had an issue. (Knock on wood)!!!! You think they will suggest a nuclear stress test or should I be ok to just do an ekg and maybe a normal stress test? I am nervous I am so close to ending these doctors being that tomorrow is the last of my process. I just want everything to work out so I can have this surgery!!!

Each surgeon requires something different, so it is hard to predict which test. It will depend on your other health issues as well as you doctors preference. All of it is to ensure safety during the procedure. Sorry I don't have any better advice.

Good luck.

I'm sure you've had your exam by now but my cardiologist just did an EKG and an echo just because I have unexplained tachycardia and they wanted to make sure my heart and aorta were structurally sound.
