Will i need PS?????

HI. I exercise regulary and have for the last couple of years. I do not have any stretch marks at all . Can anyone tell me if i am going to have to have PS after i lose all my weight. I can not afford it so i sure hope not. Right now it looks like i will be ok without any surgery, but i do worry about it. Donna:help::cry:guess:whoo:

i worry about needing a tummy tuck and a breast lift/augmentation. as my doctor was going over things pre-op with me he said to be sure to give myself at least 18 months from surgery before i consider any additional surgeries. he also said that to help the skin be sure to exfoliate (sp?). he said to scrub problem areas very well to help skin to renew. dont know how well that will actually help, but sure isnt gonna hurt to do it!

my plan has been that if i do need any surgeries i have to maintain my goal weight for one year before i get it/them. its the deal i made w/ myself and w/ my dh. cant wait to get there!

No one can give you any guarantee's. What may be acceptable to me, regarding loose skin, may not be acceptable to you as well. Will you have a tight flat tummy and perky boobs?? Probably not. If you're tummy doesn't hang now, it probably won't after you lose the weight, since you have no stretch marks.

We lose elasiticty as we age. So even a person whose been slim their entire life, usually has some loose skin in their 50's. SO, I guess it will depend on what your personal expectations are.

You're doing GREAT by the way
