Does medicare pay for surgery????

Probably depends on your state. Medi-Cal pays with 6 month supervised weight loss blah blah. You also might find it extremely difficult to get a surgeon who will do it with Medicare as primary insurance. Medi-Cal is my secondary insurance so it basically just picks up whatever co-pays my primary requires.

I don't think Medicare does to be honest as its not a private health care you need a private health care to pay for some but Medicare does rebate on amounts you pay

With my surgery my private health care covered almost all expept my out of pocket which was still a bit but will get a bit over $1000 back through Medicare or my private health care

DOS for sleeve 12/15/11

(medicare did NOT cover sleeve) A few

months later, my state of NY did accept

medicare for payment for sleeve

luckily after much "discussion" with

empire (my secondary insur) from work

i was approved for sleeve, no co-pay

I have Capital health plan Advantage it's my part D insurance that took over as primary and Medicare became my secondary insurance I live in Florida. I picked that insurance because they didn't just pay for prescriptions they also did health care . I got my surgery date Aug 25

I live in Louisiana and Medicaid covered 100% of everything.... just had to do 6 months with nutritionist first
