Maintainance portions

Hi everyone, i am new here and only 4 days post op. I need to loose 65 pounds and have lost 14 since. Yey! However, the reason i have always been fat (up and down all my life) is not due to eating unhealthy, but because i ate huge amounts of food. I was never full. I am trying to get ideas in how i can mantain my small stomach in its size so i wont let it get big again. Any suggestions? Bassically i am afraid not to be able to keep up with my portion control. Please give me ideas, i deffinetly want to keep my weight and stomach small.

Just follow your surgeons order. I got a book with everything I can have including portion size. It's unlikely you will stretch your stomach out to the old size.

Weigh all your food and eat proper portion sizes. Don't guess on how much food weighs, weigh it.

If you do that always and don't depend on restriction to set your food sizes you will never over eat.

Thank you! If you go out to eat at a restaurant, do you weigh your food? I have been thinking of buying a portable scale to weigh.

I have a portable scale I keep in my purse. sometimes if I can get away with it without people noticing I weigh things. The thing about restaurants is they have to portion control for profits, so if you ask them they can tell you hour many ounces something is. I ask questions all the time and I just make sure I tip well. Also if you can look menus up online you can get the portions.
