BCBSTX requirements for Lap band to sleeve conversion

New to the group, i go to a consult with my dr on the 16th and looking for some insight. Will i have to do 6 months of nutrition classes again, sleep study again and the psychological evolution?

    It will definitely depend on your insurance. In my case since it was a revision I only had to do 3 months, but yet again they requires a psych eval.

    My insurance BCBS of AL only allows ONE weight loss surgery per lifetime. :( We are self-pay! Even to get the band out - we have to pay!
