Gastric bypass/breast reduction

Hi! Im still waiting on my approval but I have another question. I know I need breast reduction surgery also. Has anyone have heard of them doing that at the same time as the gastric bypass or do they make u wait til goal weight?

I don't know that I would trust my WLS to perform cosmetic surgery on me. Two completely different specialties.

Good question. Doubt they'd agree to do them in the same surgery. For one thing, they would not want you under anesthesia that long. WLS would do the bypass and then a plastic surgeon would need to be ready to do the breast reduction. Another reason is what you already noted - they'll want you to wait until you've reached your new self for awhile. If insurance pays, they may want you to wait till you've been at stable weight for about a year. It'll be worth the wait!
