Surgery may 2nd mini sleeve

I won't have a hospital stay Bc I'm having a mini sleeve, it's the same as a gastric sleeve just the procedure is completed differently and is minimally invasive but i will b in recovery for 4 hours. Is there anything that anyone recommends taking with them even tho I will not be staying in the hospital ?

I have never heard of a mini sleeve! It was never offered to me as an option by my doctor. I am so curious now. Anyways , good luck to you .I wish you the best and a speedy recovery

I've never heard of this! Must google it!

super loose pants and shoes you can put on without having to bend over. Skip the bra ;)

i had outpatient gallbladder surgery and that's all I needed. Oh and a little pillow for your tummy on the ride home.

A mini sleeve is the same as a gastric sleeve just the procedure is preformed different. I will only have two incisions instead of 5 and then part of my stomach that is cut out will be uncoiled and made into a 4ft long strip and pulled up thru my esophagus. Dr McCarty is the only surgeron in the world that does this procedure . He developed this surgery a few years ago . He is in Texas . So I will be flying down and flying home .

I googled it. Sounds really good. Can't wait to hear how you like it. Trailblazer!
