8 months since decision feeing great !

  • Popular Post

It's been 8 months since I decided to have the sleeve done and 7 months since surgery.

It's the the best thing I could ever have done. I have my life back!

I've added my B4 and images taken yesterday.

If your on the journey or feel you want to get on it.... I can't begin to tell you how it will change your life IF you embrace it!

You look great! I'm scheduled for June 14. I'm so scared! But I know if I DON'T do it, I will NEVER get my life back! I'm mostly afraid of complications!!!

I'm scheduled on June 14th too!

Yes that is the risk ... the complications . I am afraid too .

Congratulations! You look great!

Sorry I'm all new to this. I thought it took about five months from decision to surgery date because of all the appointments with a psychiatrist, nutritionist, etc. You look great, btw!

Hi Lori
I live in the UK, following some direct talking from my Dr. I decided to self pay and I made my decision to have the sleeve on 10 August following meeting the surgeon, had a two week holiday then went on my pre-op diet and into theatre 13 September. I had and still have full support from my surgical team.

As you can imagine it won't be as easy in the good old USA. I do have a couple of co-morbidities. I need my knees replaced because of arthritis and the ortho suggested the weight loss surgery. I'm hoping insurance will pay for the knees and the weight loss sx.

Looking tremendous! Keep up the awesome work and stay blessed bro!
