Hi all, I got my first fill today at the TLBC. I got 3 pokes at first to locate the port. 5cc put in. then I could not drink the water. very tiny sips but wont go down. I tried hard not to get a defill but I had no choice so 1 cc was taken out. it felt so weired. I wanted to be tight as could be but now I know its not the best feeling. you feel like you have heart burn with something in the throat that wont go away, then the water starts to come out with slime. well I am fine now and holding down water with small sips. I hope I am on my way to a good restriction. very glad. Now I know this will work.sooooo glad for now. will start experimenting with food tomorrow. will keep all posted.

I go for my first fill on Oct. 3rd, and I am very nervous. My doctor does it by floroscope)not correctly spelled). I'm glad he is using xray, because I'd hate for him to be shooting in the dark.

I went to my PCP today because I've been down in my back since surgery, and I had lost 6 more pounds!!! This has already been an amazing tool.
