Bipolar 2

I started this topic in another section didn't really know where to post it. Anyways, I suffer from bipolar 2 disorder and was wondering if anyone else has pre and post op. I am on medication and have a therapist and a psychiatrist. I was wondering what people's experiences has been. I am having the surgery on June 14th and feeling anxiety

Juni I'm scared and expecting the depression that I'm going to feel. It's a huge step having the surgery and the experience of being post op the 1st 2 weeks.
I'll be messaging you definitely, you'll have to give me tips on coping mechanisms. I'm having Bariatric bypass 11th July. Gita xx

Im the chick that started this post. Bipolar 2 and im 3 weeks post op and doing great. No regrets!

I'm glad you're doing well. I'm hoping to have a sleeve in October and I also have bp2 plus anxiety and psychosis. It took a long time to get "stable" and I am a little worried about my meds but glad to know some peoples meds still do OK. Good for you and thanks for posting.
