I asked about nail polish at my pre-op appt, and was told it would be ok as long as I didn't have Shellac or Acrylic on them. The nurse said the oxygen reader that they put on your finger would not be able to get an accurate read. So, I plan to get a regular mani/pedi without any no-chip or gel. I think hair extensions will ok, your hair will probably be put into one those blue caps during surgery anyway. I'm just gonna wash mine, and mold it down (I have a short, relaxed cut), and hope for the best :D
