How did you handle telling your work?

How did you handle telling your work and being away during recovery? Procedure set for March 8th and have anxiety about leaving work behind and looking different.

What do you need to tell them? You aren't going to come back looking different. You don't have surgery and drop 100 pounds over night. They are all going to see you eating less and losing weight.

You don't have to tell them anything. You will come back slightly smaller, but you might be losing weight before surgery too. You'll be eating smaller and healthier, and they will see it
