I Performed a Task that no Human Being should be able to do and now I am looking around for my Trophy. That's right, my Daughters and Son in laws have a Sunday Funday tradition by spending each Sunday having a meal and going to do an activity. Well I am in the Liquid Phase of Pre-op and we were running close on time so they chose a Chinese Buffet so we could get in and out fast. I asked for a water and couple slices of Lemon and watched and enjoyed my family as they ate. Was it hard well yes slightly but so worth it. My kids respect my decision and offered not to go eat but I told them that this is our new reality and that the time spent with them was always what I enjoyed most on these days anyway. Feb 24th is in just a couple of days and I am going to treat my surgery like it is a Vacation and Cross Mexico off of my places I have never been list.

Sounds like you are in such a good place with your decision! I applaud you for your courage and patience. Half of the success is in your head. Attitude, positive thoughts and straight willpower are all what will help make your journey a success. You so got this!
