What does your doctor recommend? Mine does not take it out as part of the op. He said it can cause other problems and it's not a guarantee the gallbladder will cause you trouble.

    No. Don't. It's a really important part of your digestive system. Unless you have something irrevocably wrong with the gall bladder, I'd leave it right where it is.

    No need to if it doesn't bother you. My surgeon didn't either because he didn't want to keep me under any longer than I already was. Later down the road it may start bothering you I say take it out then
