United Healthcare

Hi! I'm basically new to this form.

Would like to know if any one out there has United Health care Insurance. And how did that go for you. I'm in Wisconsin and just very curious. On how it looks. I'm having a RNY for health reasons.

I do. When I called on my own they didn't say anything about having to wait 6 mos. I saw someone else post on here that also has United Healthcare and has to wait 6 months. I'm still waiting to hear back from the scheduling Cordinator at the hospital as they are checking into my insurance. What did they tell you that you need to do in order to get surgery?

Please remember that every insurance policy is different. 2 people can have UHC and have very different coverage. Read your information from the carrier and talk to the reps on the phones. Make notes of dates, times and names of who you talk to so you have a record.
