Welcome!!! I'm pretty new here myself. I'm very early on. Had my first appt in January. My insurance requires 6 month medically supervised WL. My last MSWL appt is June. So I am hoping to have bypass surgery in July or August.

Were you required to lose weight for the surgery? If so what kind of "program" did you follow?

Hi I actually signed up with Take Shape for Life which is a meal program. 5 of their meals and 1 lean and green. It gets pricey though. I was required to do 6 months of supervised weight loss. I bounced around a lot but I also have thyroid problems.
