Menopause and lapband

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I had my lap band procedure done almost 7 months ago. I'm only down about 25 lbs. I work out 3-4 times a week ( just started this about 2 months ago). I know I'm going through "the change". Im thinking this may be having an impact on my low weight loss. I'm getting very discouraged, any ideas would be appreciated.

Are you tracking your food intake and looking at your calories? I entered menopause in the past year and I'm losing 2 pounds a week with minimal exercise currently. I have bad knees and hope to exercise once I'm down 50 pounds. I had lap band in mid October and I'm losing 10 pounds a month. Look at the quality and quantity of what you are eating. Carbs will sit on the hips easily. Focus on protein, low carb veggies and water. Good luck.

Keep up doing the good work you're doing! It took me almost a year to get just the right amount of Fluid in my lap band. So the 1st year is up & down by Wight loss & everybody's different. Your change is probably giving U discouragement & doubts. Never give up not giving up on yourself! Maybe you just need your lap band tweaked adding a 1/2cc more. Also it takes your body to get used that you're shedding weight & to get out of survival mode to stand still the loss. Ignore the scales & write down all your measurements. Most of the time when the scale isn't moving your tape measure will show inches list in different areas! Best wishes 2u!
