4 weeks liquid diet

So got a phone call today, my surgery is approved but my bmi is to high for the surgery center so they suggested 4 weeks of a liquid diet. Anyone else have to do a liquid diet for that long or longer and what was your results? I have 30lbs to lose so it may be longer!

I have been on a pre-op diet for the last four weeks. It consisted of replacing one meal each week with a Protein shake. Week one one meal a day with a Protein Shake week to two meals a day were a protein shake in the last two weeks are just pure Protein shakes. I'm also allowed to have sugar free drinks, Sugarfree Popsicles, and broth.
